BEGINNING this month, United Airlines features a new line of special meals for all United First, United Business and United Economy customers on all domestic and US outbound international Flights. In partnership with the Culinary Institute of America and Hearth Smart Restaurant International, the airline has created the most comprehensive special meal program in the industry with hundreds of new recipes that meet the medical, dietary, ethnic and religious needs of its customers.
United is also expanding the number of vegetarian offerings and introducing two new types of meals – Indian Vegetarian and Oriental – for a total of 28 special meal categories. All special meals must be ordered 24 hours in advance of flight departure.
