BRITISH Airways continues to recognize tickets issued  by Philippine Airlines (PAL), the country’s flag carrier, despite the suspension imposed on PAL by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Philippine Airlines, the country’s flag carrier, was suspended for its failure to pay its obligations amounting to $30 million.

“We honor tickets issued by Philippine Airlines,” says Richard John Engelmann, British Airways Country manager (Philippines), “and British Airways will continue to offer our support to PAL despite the IATA suspension.”
